  1. Flight from Denpasar, Bali to Labuan Bajo. Flights are scheduled more than 2 times a day with an early flight scheduled for 07.00 a.m. It takes approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours. After that, take a boat tour from Labuan Bajo. This is the most recommended way to get to Komodo National Park.
  2. Ferry from Bali to Labuan Bajo. This type of transport will take approximately 1 1/2 days or 36 hours to get to Labuan Bajo. It is a long way, getting on the bus and ferries. You will do a ferry crossing 3 times during the trip. Arrive at Labuan Bajo, you can book a Komodo boat tour to get there.
  3. Boat sailing from Lombok or Bali. This is also one of the recommended ways to get to Komodo. The boat trip from Lombok offers 2 departures from Lombok and Bali. You will stop in some of the islands such as Nusa Lembongan, Lombok, Gili Islands, Kanawa, Moyo, and many more. Then sail around Komodo National Park before getting to Labuan Bajo.

  1. Find a reliable Travel Agency to book your Komodo tour. Not all agencies offer you great service during the Komodo adventure. Make sure you book with a trusted tour agency and try to research before making a booking.
  2. Find the experience and a professional tour guide. A good guide is a very important thing when you do this trip. Make sure they understand what you need during the Komodo adventure.
  3. Never try to go alone. Komodo Dragon is a wildlife species, they can attack you at any time.
  4. Keep silent during the Komodo adventure, they do not like noise.
  5. Do not smoke on the island, it is very dry and easy to burn.
  6. Keep after yourself, take a look around. Komodo Dragon babies are sometimes on the tree.
  7. Report to your ranger if you have injuries to your body, hands, or legs. Komodo is the very sense of blood.
  8. Women in their period are not recommended on this trip. Komodo can smell a distance of 20km.
